Can I use Repredict at point-of-sale?
Customized insurance calculations that provide additional perspective and facilitate understanding are not prohibited as long as the agent clearly discloses that the projected values are based on mathematical analyses (such as regression) and are not formal illustrations. Specifically, the following should be considered:
Compliance with Regulations – Many states and regulatory bodies, such as the NAIC (National Association of Insurance Commissioners) and FINRA (if applicable), have strict rules regarding how insurance projections can be presented. The agent must ensure the projection does not mislead the client or imply guarantees that are not contractually backed by the insurance company.
Clear Disclosures – The agent must explicitly state that the projection is not an official illustration but rather an analysis based on historical data, assumptions, or modeling techniques. Including a disclaimer that actual results may vary is advisable.
Company and Carrier Policies – Some insurance companies may have internal policies restricting the use of custom projections. The agent should check with their firm’s compliance department to ensure adherence to company guidelines.
Use of Historical Data and Assumptions – If the projection is based on regression or other analytical methods, the agent should clearly explain the assumptions used (e.g., interest rates, market returns, policy expenses, mortality rates, etc.).
No Guarantees or Misrepresentation – The projection should not be framed in a way that suggests certainty or an official guarantee of future policy performance.
Repredict typically results in predictions that are very close to numbers that can be illustrated. Accordingly, we advise that you convert the desired prediction into a compliant illustration by clicking the "Make Compliant" button. This allows your illustration desk to create a fully compliant illustration that closely mirrors the prediction itself.
Can I create in-force illustrations with Repredict?
You can create predictions of future performance based on the "as sold" illustration. The assumptions from the original illustration, updated using current account values, are used to project future values. Technically, this is not an "in-force illustration", which can only be provided by the carrier and is subject to NAIC regulations. Repredict creates statistical projections using AI-assisted regression analysis to provide additional insight.
When projecting future performance for policy review purposes, it is good practice to accompany any analysis you create using Repredict, Excel or third party statistical software, with an insurance-company-generated in-force illustration, and to clearly disclose the difference in assumptions.
How do I sign up for Repredict and which plan should I choose?
To sign up for Repredict, visit the pricing page. There are three individual user plans:
Free Forever: This plan is well-suited for light users who only occasionally wish to create ledgers and make predictions. You can import 10 pdf's per month, and create a total of 10 ledgers per month with no more than a total of 10 predictions per month. Each month your account is replenished. There is no expiration date.
Professional: This plan offers the best value proposition for users who need a moderate number of predictions (up to 100 per month), but are not heavy users and do not require some of the more advanced features. The cost is $99/mo. if paid annually, or $119/mo. if paid monthly. If Professional does not meet your needs, you can always upgrade to the Genius plan. If you already paid annually, you will only be charged the difference in price.
Genius: Genius is our full-featured version. It is the best choice for planners who will be using this technology often or taking advantage of the advanced features. For example, Genius users get unlimited ledgers and predictions. They can also create repredictions, which are new predictions layered on top of the results of an existing prediction. In other words, now that we have this prediction, what if we further change it to that. Genius users can also stress test an illustration by lowering the crediting rate or inserting some poor crediting years. The Genius plan is $249/mo. if paid annually, or $119/mo. if paid monthly.
To stay in keeping with AG49A, crediting rates are limited to the max illustrated rate for the particular product.
Do I need a credit card to sign up for a free account?
Yes. All accounts require a credit card for ID verification. Repredict does not store credit card information. We use Stripe to process all credit card transactions. Please visit stripe.com for information about transaction security.
How do I cancel my account?
To cancel your account, click on your profile avatar and select "My Profile".
Then click the "Cancel Subscription" link at the bottom right hand corner of the page.
What kind of support is included with Repredict?
All users receive live support, AI support and Help Center Report. To request any kind of support, click the messaging icon at the bottom right corner of any page.
Click "Ask a question" to initiate both AI and Live support. AI will attempt to answer your question quickly, and then provide you with an option to speak to a person. You can also type in your request for live support at any time. Representatives are standing by. If you do not receive an immediate response, type in your question and it will be answered as soon as an agent is available.
Paid users can also schedule a 1-on-1 Training Session any time, or attend our group Masterclass, held every Thursday afternoon.
In addition to these levels of support, Genius users will also be invited to join our Priority Slack support channel. Through Slack, we are able to offer the highest level of support and quick turnarounds.
Can I use predicted data with other applications such as Excel or InsMark planning software?
Yes. Every prediction page can be converted into a CSV file and exported from Repredict using the "Export" button. Just save to your local hard drive and open in any other program for additional analysis. We also have an integration with InsMark. To transfer data directly to InsMark, simply press the "Plan with InsMark" button at the top of any page.
For more details, see the article "Sending Data" in this Help Center.
Is Repredict compliant?
Repredict is not an illustration system and does not produce compliant illustrations. Rather, repredict creates mathematical analyses to supplement compliant illustrations. Spreadsheets and analyses may be used in conjunction with compliant illustrations by following NAIC and state guidelines. For more information, please see the Help Center article "Staying Compliant with Repredict".
Use the "Make Compliant" button to send a prediction to your illustration desk so that it can be converted into a compliant illustration using the same assumptions as the source illustration.
Will Repredict or OpenAI learn my business data?
No. You cannot store files on Repredict. Even if you import a pdf document, Repredict does not store the pdf. Repredict only extracts the numbers for use in your predictions. Because Repredict only saves tables of numbers and not the associated text, there is no context to the information we store.
And while our API agreement with OpenAI allows us to train or fine-tune ChatGPT based on the pdf documents that are imported, we have opted out to protect your sensitive and sometimes proprietary information. By default, OpenAI does not train data sent to their servers by API. Specifically, OpenAI says the following:
"By default, we do not use your business data for training our models. If you have explicitly opted in to share your data with us (for example, through our opt-in feedback mechanisms to improve our services), then we may use the shared data to train our models."
Is Repredict patented?
Yes. Patent Number US 11,759,459 B1 was granted to Repredict Inventor and Co-Founder Robert Strauss on October 17, 2023 for "Methods and Apparatuses for AI-Based Ledger Prediction". You can download the published patent from the USPTO site here.
Do you offer discounts?
Volume discounts are available by signing up for the Enterprise version and purchasing 10 or more licenses. The Enterprise member can manage licenses by sending out invitations to individual users and activating or deactivating these accounts from a central panel.
Carriers, IMOs and producer groups can also use discount coupons to invite their members to purchase Repredict, rather than buying multiple licenses for distribution. This allows the cost to be passed on to members of the organization.
Do you pay for referrals?
All users are eligible for our Refer a Friend program. Repredict pays $100 for every Genius user referred, and $50 for every Professional user. These are applied as credits against your own subscription.
Strategic partners who control significant distribution channels can also apply for a revenue share of recurring payments.
Revenue sharing with strategic partners is managed by First Promoter. You will receive your own referral links that can be used to code referrals to your account, as well as a portal to view pending commissions and amounts paid to you.
Does Repredict recruit agents?
No. Repredict is a software company and provides software as a service only. Repredict is not affiliated with any IMO or insurance company. Our policy and our mission is to help you and your insurance organization grow and succeed. We believe strongly that organizations who use Repredict will have a significant advantage over their competitors. We will do everything we can to support and reinforce your efforts.
Can Repredict use crediting rates above the max illustrated rate on IUL policies?
No. You can lower the crediting rate and make more conservative estimates, but the upside is capped at the crediting rate used to create the compliant source ledger.
There is no limitation on changing account values. This is important to predict future values based on actual performance, which may be greater than the originally projected values.
