We understand how frustrating it can be when your sleep tracker isn’t working as expected. Your sleep tracker is a crucial tool on your re:sleep journey, so let’s help you resolve any issues you might encounter.
How to change data:
If you want to update any of the information you have inputted into a specific night's sleep in your tracker, please follow the steps below.
1. Open up your sleep tracker and click into the week where the night is which you want to change the data for. Identify which night it is you would like to update and click "edit day" at the right-hand side of this row.
2. Go through the tracker questions for this night again, updating any of the information you would like. Then click save and the data for this night will be updated.
To update your rising time for the week or change the "yes/no" for sleep scheduling, we will need to make this change internally. For this, please speak to our chatbot and select "get more help" to be put through to our customer support team.
Common Issues and How to Fix Them:
A demonstration of common issues you may experience and how to overcome them can be seen in the "troubleshooting the sleep tracker" video on day 11. For some written advice, please see below:
1. Sleep Tracker Not Syncing or Saving Data:
- Log Out and Back In: Often, simply logging out of your re:sleep account and logging back in can refresh the system and fix syncing problems.
- Clear Your Browser Cache: If you’re using a web browser, clear your cache and cookies, then try accessing the sleep tracker again. This can help resolve loading or syncing issues.
- Try a Different Browser or Device: If the problem persists, try using a different web browser (like Chrome or Firefox) or a different device. In particular, if you are using a mobile device it can help to try using a desktop instead. This will identify whether the issue is browser- or device-specific.
2. Sleep Data Not Displaying Correctly:
- Ensure Accurate Time Input: Make sure you are entering your sleep data in minutes. For example, if you were awake for 1.5 hours during the night, input 90 minutes instead of 1.5.
- Refresh the Page: If data you have just input seems to be missing or displayed incorrectly, refreshing the page can often fix this.
3. Technical Glitches or Errors:
- Restart Your Device: Sometimes a simple restart of your phone, tablet, or computer can resolve temporary glitches.
