Before submitting your application, go through this checklist. If you can check every box, your application is ready.
Organization
◻ I have an organization profile linked to my site
◻ My organization profile gives enough context about who we are and what we do
◻ I've included contact information for follow-up
Site information
◻ My site description clearly describes mangrove or coastal restoration/conservation work
◻ My description reflects what's actually happening on the ground
◻ My Site Type is set correctly for the work I'm describing
◻ My Intervention Type and other required metadata fields are filled in
◻ I've added before/after photos where the project has progressed enough to show them
◻ If my site is a Blue Carbon project, I attached a unique HQBC screenshot for this specific site
Site polygon
◻ My polygon represents my actual site boundary, not a placeholder shape
◻ My polygon is scoped to the real intervention area, not a wider surrounding region
◻ My polygon's size and location are consistent with the work I've described
◻ My polygon doesn't significantly overlap with another mapped site
◻ If I have multiple distinct intervention areas, I've mapped each as its own site
◻ If I want to show a broader region containing several sites, I've created that as a separate Landscape or Area of Interest site
If my site is still in concept or planning stage
◻ I've set my Site Type to Area of Interest
◻ My polygon is my best approximation of where the work is likely to happen
◻ My description clearly states the project is in concept/development/planning stage
Application
◻ I've filled in every required field in the application
◻ I've reviewed my profile against What does an optimal site profile look like? and the mangrove-specific guidance
◻ I'm confident my project meets the eligibility criteria for the Mangrove Breakthrough Call for Projects
