How do I draw a site?
Updated over a week ago

At Restor, we believe that anyone can make a positive impact on the environment. Drawing a site allows you to mark and define specific areas anywhere in the world.
Follow these steps to draw a site on Restor:

  1. Go to the + Add to map button and click on New Site:
To begin drawing your site, locate the yellow + Create button on the platform and click on it. From the options that appear, select + Create to initiate the site drawing process.

  2. Zoom in or search for the location:
You have two options to specify the location of your site. First, you can zoom in on the desired area on the map. Alternatively, you can enter the name of the location in the search field to quickly find it.

  3. Start drawing the boundaries of the site:
Once you have located the desired location on the map, click anywhere within that area to start drawing the boundaries of your site:

Here are some important notes regarding the drawing process:

    • The surface area of the site cannot be smaller than 50 square meters or larger than 10,000 square kilometers.

    • A site must have a minimum of 4 points to form a closed shape.

    • You can click on any point and drag it to change its location.

    • Clicking on any point reveals its coordinates.

    • Clicking on any point allows you to delete it. For multiple-point deletion, hold the Shift button on your keyboard and select the desired points.

    • Multiple sites can be drawn and saved simultaneously.
