Creating and Editing an Organization Profile on Restor

Organization profiles on Restor create an excellent space to showcase your organization’s mission and key areas of work as well as details about any restoration and/or conservation projects you are involved in. Engaging, informative organization profiles on Restor can be a great way to reach out to stakeholders and help to tell your story.


What is an Organization Profile?

An organization profile is a page on the Restor platform where you can provide information about your organization. This can include your contact information and some details about the size and sector your organization is working in.


What Information Should I Include?

When creating an organization profile on Restor, it's important to include relevant information to help showcase your work and connect with others.

You can include:

  • Images

  • Add your team members

  • Organization size (how many employees you have)

  • A description of your organization's work

  • Social media channels

  • Website

  • Contact information

  • Points of Interest (if you have any)

Additionally, you will need to select the type of organization you are creating a profile for, which can be one of the following: Business, Restoration & Conservation, Alliance or Coalition, Government, Research, or Other.

You can further refine your organization type by selecting from the available sub-categories, such as:

  • Botanical garden

  • Certification agency

  • Community and education services

  • Expert network

  • Fertilizer or compost supplier

  • Funding partner

  • Implementer

  • Investment and Financing

  • Nursery

  • Project manager

  • Project organizer

  • Seed bank

  • Tools and equipment provider.


Providing comprehensive and accurate information on your organization profile will help others better understand your work and potentially lead to collaboration opportunities.


What Pictures Can I Include on My Organization Profile?

When creating your organization profile on Restor, we highly recommend adding a good quality organization logo as it can give your organization visibility and exposure.

If you would like to include other images that may benefit your organization's work, such as pictures of your sites, the type of vegetation that exists on your sites, the progress of your projects, and team members. These additional images can be added to the individual site profiles or the collections.

So, feel free to showcase your organization's work and enhance your profile with relevant and high-quality images.
