GG Outcomes Reports

The GG Outcomes reports provide detailed tracking for Self-Care (GG0130) and Mobility (GG0170) over the course of a patient’s episode:

  • Prior Level: The patient’s functional level at the start of the episode (from the earliest evaluation).

  • Admit Level: The patient’s functional level at the time of admission.

  • Discharge Level: The patient’s functional level at discharge.

  • Discharge Goal: The goal set for the patient at discharge.

  • Change from Admission to Discharge: Shows progress or decline in functional abilities from admission to discharge.

  • Percent Change: The percentage change between admit and discharge.

If any level is missing, it will be marked as N/A, and if an Admit or Discharge level is missing, it will be highlighted in red for easy identification.

Why Section GG Reporting Matters

Section GG data helps track functional improvement, which directly supports quality reporting and reimbursement (PDPM). It also demonstrates the value of therapy services by showing progress over time.

Conclusion

The GG Outcomes Reports in RESTORE-Insights offer a clear and simple way to track patient progress in Self-Care and Mobility, making it easier for therapists to ensure accurate MDS reporting and provide better patient care.
