Contacts don't appear instantly. Here's what to check if you're not seeing any yet.
Check your setup
Make sure:
Your script is installed and active on your site
Your email platform is connected
Your setup is fully completed
Check your traffic
Contacts are identified from your website visitors.
If your site has low traffic, it may take longer for contacts to appear.
What to expect
Contacts may not appear immediately
It can take time for visitors to return and be identified
New contacts will continue to be added over time
Volume may vary day to day
Where to look
You can check for contacts in two places:
Your Retention.com Home Page — just below the graph, you'll see a list of identified contacts with their email address and the first page they visited
Your email platform — check for newly added or recently synced contacts in the list or segment you selected during setup
Still not seeing contacts?
If everything is set up correctly, give it a bit more time as your site continues to receive traffic.
