How Do I Set Up Return Reasons?

Learn how you can customize existing returns reasons, add new ones, and other features within return reasons

Adding a new Return Reason

Step-by-step:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Returns - Originate > Return Reasons

  2. Select "Add Reason"

  3. Fill out information (I.e. Active?, Require Comment Collection, Customer Image Collection).

  4. Choose your Available Return Types for this reason. If a shopper selects this reason, these are the return types they will be shown.

  5. Add any secondary return reasons you'd like (learn more about secondary return reasons here)

  6. Save and publish changes.

Note:

To edit an existing Return Reason, select the blue edit button.

To delete an existing Return Reason, select the red trashcan button.

To deactivate a Return Reason select the blue checkmark on the left side.



Frequently Asked Questions

Some return reasons aren't showing up in the portal?

  • If, due to your product policies or inventory exclusions, a return type is not available for a specific product, return reasons that lead to that unavailable type will not be shown
