Step-by-step:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Returns - Originate > Return Types

  2. Select the Return Type you'd like to change the setting for

  3. Select Manual or Automatic RMA Authorization

  4. Save on the modal

  5. Select "Save Draft" and "Publish Settings" on the page

When it comes to authorizing RMAs, there are two choices:

  1. Automatically Authorize RMAs-  RMA requests that fall within policy parameters will be automatically authorized.

  2. Manually Authorize RMAs-  RMA requests that fall within policy parameters will need to be manually authorized by an Originate team member.
