Overview:

User roles define what your users can access and modify within your ReturnLogic platform. It is important to give your users the correct permissions to allow them access to the tools they will need within ReturnLogic.

Recommendation’s for user access:

  • CS Manager: Admin access to Originate only

  • CS team member: User access to Originate only

Please note: Account Administrators are the only users who can edit or create users.

Returns Collector

Administrator: View RMA's in Collector, Edit RMA's in Collector, Edit Collector Settings

No Access:

When a user is assigned a “No Access” user permission, this will prevent the user from being able to access that specific area of the product. If a user has “No Access” to all user permissions, they will be able to log in, but they will only be able to access the homepage. Additionally, the user will not see navigation to the areas they are not permitted in. So if a user has “No Access” to Collector, that user will not be able to see the “Collector” button in the navigation bar.

Please note: To provide Administrator Access to any permission you must first set the Account Administrator permission to Administrator. Ex. If you would like to provide Administrator Access for a User in Returns IQ, both Administrator Access and Returns IQ must also be set to Administrator.

How to add users / assign their role:

  1. Visit the Users settings under the menu dropdown at the top right of the screen.

2. Select "Add User".

3. Fill out the new users email and full name then click "Next".

4. Select the users (role) permissions for Account Administrator, Returns IQ, Returns Originate, and Returns Collector. Once that is done select "Finish".

To delete a user, select the red trash can next to the users name and confirm you want to delete the user.

To reset a password visit the login page for ReturnLogic and select “Forgot my Password”. Please note: users will have to reset their own password.

To update a permission select the blue pencil next to the user and set the permissions that you would like to set.
