Overview:

Because there is no value associated to a new exchange order, the refund must be done on the original order in Shopify. Below are the steps to take to issue a refund on a previously exchanged item.

Issuing the Refund in Shopify:

  1. Scroll to the bottom of the RMA.

  2. Select the "Click Here" link to go to the order in Shopify.

  3. Once in Shopify, look for the original order number in the notes section, located on the right hand side of the screen.

  4. Search for that order number in Shopify.

  5. Once you have located the original order, select refund at the top to initiate the refund.

Processing the return in ReturnLogic:

  1. Navigate back to the RMA within ReturnLogic.

  2. Select the Unapproved Slider to Approved.

  3. Scroll to the bottom of the RMA and select the dropdown arrow next to "Process".

  4. Then select "Process Manually"

Note: Processing manually will bypass the calculations in ReturnLogic and will NOT issue a refund from ReturnLogic. We want to process manually because we have already initiated the refund on the original order in Shopify.
