ReturnLogic provides a toolset allowing you to easily apply the store credit value to the RMA to ensure this information can be properly tracked within the platform.

1. Find the RMA that you wish to process in the RMA Overview. You can search for an RMA using the RMA Number, Order Number, or a variety of other fields.

2. Select the RMA by clicking the highlighted RMA number or edit icon.

3. Approve the items that you wish to issue store credit amounts for. At least one item must be selected to process the store credit but you do not need to approve every item if the returned item does not meet your return policy.

4. Optionally, you may modify the values to set the appropriate store credit amount. You can adjust discounts, taxes, and shipping deductions or apply an arbitrary fee or deduction.

5. Once you have modified any necessary financial fields, you'll click the green process button.

6. Next you will click process. Once this is done the area that contains the processed button will have the date and timestamp of when the RMA was processed.

On the BigCommerce side of things, a Gift Certificate will be created and an automated email will be sent out with the Gift Certificate code. If your customers lose this code at any point you do have the ability to resend it through the BigCommerce control panel. You can find an explanation of this feature in the Gift Certificates documentation in the BigCommerce Help Center.

FAQ:

What if I don't want the Gift Certificate option on my storefront or to make the Gift Certificate page inaccessible?

These may be options available in either the BigCommerce Control Panel or Theme Settings. Please reach out to BigCommerce Support for further assistance and resources.
