Have it so patients can select a provider when scheduling

Do you want patients to be able to select a provider they want to schedule with? Follow these steps, to enable this feature:

  1. Go to scheduling > settings

  2. Click set appointment type schedules

  3. Click the recent toggle

  4. Under the provider column, click the drop-down

  5. You have 3 options to choose from. Do not ask, will not allow a patient to select a provider and will go to whoever is available. Second option is no preference, this will allow a patient to either select a provider or select no preference and go with first available. The last option is select provider, this will have the patient pick a provider

You will want to do this for each of your appointment types. The default is set to do not ask.
