Part of setting up your account to successfully bill insurance is to make sure that all of your billable services are in your account and ready to go. Let's go through how to do this! πŸ€“

The first step is to make sure that you have all of your CPT Codes populated into your account's clinic list from your Insurance Settings, which you may CLICK HERE to learn more about to add these in.

Once you have these added in, head over to Settings > Product, Invoice and Payment Settings > Products and Services > + Add a Product. In the screenshot below, there are examples shown for different Adjustment prices:

The CPT Codes are added within the Product Settings itself:

Clerk will also give you the option to add in ICD-10 Codes if you know there are always going to be particular diagnosis codes that should be automatically associated/pointing to a CPT Code.

✨Note:✨ You do not have associate diagnosis codes to a Product/Service. We understand that a patient can receive the same treatment as another patient and can have different diagnosis codes. For this reason, we typically see our clients just associate the CPT Codes and select the diagnosis codes for the patient while they are in treatment.

And just like that! You are on your way to helping patients receive the care they need to live happier and healthier lives! 🀩

✨PSST!✨ Now that your Products/Services are set up for billing, want to know how to use them? We thought so! You may CLICK HERE to read more about how Products/Services are added to the Line Items tab while the patient is in treatment.
