This quick guide will walk you through how to answer key parts of the application and help avoid common mistakes to make sure you get approved!

Business and Contact Information

  • Owner Name
    Use your full legal name (as shown on your government-issued ID). No nicknames.

  • Corp/Legal Name
    This is your full business name used when filing taxes or registering your corporation with the state.

  • Corp/Legal Address
    The physical address associated with your legal business entity (typically the one used when filing taxes).

  • DBA (Doing Business As) Name
    The name you publicly operate under, if different from your legal name. This is the name your customers recognize.

  • Location / DBA Address
    Your actual business office location. PO Boxes, virtual mailboxes, and storage units are not accepted.

  • Federal Tax ID
    The EIN or Tax ID issued by the IRS for your business. Must match the legal business name above.

  • Business Email Address
    Use a professional email (e.g., info@yourbusiness.com). Avoid Gmail, Yahoo, or Outlook addresses.

  • Customer Service Phone Number
    The phone number listed on your website for customers to reach you.

  • Website
    Enter your full and active business website URL (e.g., www.yourbusiness.com).


Sales Type Breakdown

Break down 100% of your card sales across the following categories:

  • Card Present / Swiped
    % of sales made in person, where the card is physically swiped or tapped.

  • Card Not Present / Keyed
    % of sales where card info is manually entered (e.g., over the phone or mail order).

  • E-Commerce
    % of sales made through your website or mobile app, where the customer types in their card info.

Note: These three percentages must total 100%.


Sales Volume Details

  • Monthly Card Volume
    The total dollar amount of all credit/debit card sales in an average month.

  • Monthly eCheck/ACH Volume
    The total dollar amount of all eCheck or ACH transactions in an average month.

  • Average Transaction Size
    The typical dollar amount per sale.

  • High Ticket Amount
    The largest dollar amount you typically charge in a single transaction.

    This should not be more than your total monthly card volume.
