How to Send 1 Appointment Reminder Even if the Patient has Multiple Same Day Appointments

Do you have patients scheduled for multiple same day appointments? Families with appointments all scheduled for the same day? In Aloha we can set a limit to only send a reminder for the first appointment of the day vs. sending an individual reminder for each.

Go to the GEAR ICON at the top, right hand side of the account > select AUTOMATION.

Under the Appointment Reminders, turn the Reminder Limit ON, this will ensure patients only receive ONE reminder for the FIRST appointment of the day.

*For families with same day appointments, this will only limit reminders if all contacts have the same contact information on file (phone and email). The reminder will trigger to send to the first scheduled appointment within the group. If the appointments are scheduled for the same time, it will trigger to send for the first contact name alphabetically.
