✉️ How to Create Campaign Templates

Build reusable SMS and Email templates for your automated campaigns

💡 When You Need This Guide

Creating templates is the first step to building powerful, automated campaigns. Whether you're sending appointment reminders, missed appointment follow-ups, or promotional messages, templates keep your communication clear and consistent.


📄 Create a Template from the Template Library

  1. Go to CAMPAIGNS > Show Templates

  2. Click +Add Template (top right corner)

  3. Choose your template type: Text (SMS) or Email

  4. Under Type, select the purpose:

    • Standard

    • Appointment Reminder

    • Feedback Request

  5. Enter a recognizable Template Name

    • Examples: Day 1 Education Email, Missed Appt SMS, Dinner with Doc Email

  6. Under Sender, select the appropriate provider or leave as “-unassigned-”

  7. Write your message content

  8. Click Save


🔁 Create a Template Directly Within a Campaign Step

  1. Go to CAMPAIGNS > Show Campaigns

  2. Click into the campaign and select +Add Step

  3. Under Action, choose Text or Email

  4. A dropdown appears—click -add a new message-

  5. Name and write your new template

  6. Click Save, then select your new template from the dropdown

  7. Click Save Campaign Step


🖼️ How to Add an Image to a Campaign Template

You can personalize your message by attaching a photo, like a friendly reminder or fun visual.

To add an image from the template library:

  1. Go to CAMPAIGNS > Show Templates

  2. Click +Add Template or choose an existing one

  3. Click Choose Image next to the image field

    • Don’t see your image? Click +Add Image to upload it

  4. Click Save

To add an image directly inside a campaign step:

  1. Go to CAMPAIGNS > Show Campaigns

  2. Select the campaign and click into the step

  3. Click Edit Template (blue button on the right)

  4. Add your image as shown above

  5. Save the template, then reselect it in your campaign step

  6. Click Save Campaign Step before exiting


✏️ How to Edit an Existing Campaign Template

Option 1: From Template Library

  1. Go to CAMPAIGNS > Show Templates

  2. Click the template you want to edit

  3. Make your text or image changes

  4. Click Save

Option 2: From Within a Campaign

  1. Go to CAMPAIGNS > Show Campaigns

  2. Select the campaign and locate the step with the template

  3. Click Edit Template

  4. Make your changes and click Save

  5. Click Save Campaign Step and Save Campaign

✅ Edits made here will update the content used in all steps that use that template.
