The first step in building a successful campaign is creating a template! There are two ways you can create an SMS or Email template to be used in a campaign and we will walk you through step-by-step on how to do so.

Creating a Template Under the Campaign Templates Section:

  1. Go to the CAMPAIGNS tab > SHOW TEMPLATES page

  2. Click +Add Template (top right)ย

  3. Select the type of template you'd like to create (i.e. Email or text (SMS)

  4. Use the dropdown menu for Type to determine if this template is going to be a standard template, appointment reminder template, or feedback request template.

  5. Enter an easily identifiable name for your template.

Examples: Missed Appt SMS, Late Fee SMS, 1-Hour Before Appt Reminder SMS, Day 1 Patient Education Email, Dinner w/ the Doc Email

  6. In the dropdown menu for Sender, you can select the provider that the message will be sent from. This will help when using the Review Wave Mobile APP. Each provider will see the messages sent by their user. If certain providers have campaigns that are specific to their patients, this is an important step. Otherwise, you can select โ€œ-unassigned-โ€

  7. Add your message content and then click Save

Creating a Template Inside the Campaign Step:

  1. Go into your desired campaign and click "+add step".

  2. Under "Action", click the drop-down and select "text" or "email".

  3. A new drop-down will populate on the right-hand side, open the selection and click "-add a new text message-".

  4. Create your template (don't forget to add an easily, identifiable name) and click save.

  5. Once back in the campaign step, click the drop-down once more to select your newly made template!
