You can easily add yourself to any campaign you’ve built in order to test when your steps will run, how the frequency feels to the receiver, how your messages look, and more!

How to Test a Manual Campaign:

  1. Go to the CONTACTS tab > SHOW CONTACTS page

  2. Search for your name using the search bar in the upper right-hand corner

  3. Click View next to your contact and scroll down to the section titled “Campaigns”

  4. Use the drop down menu showing “-select-” to select the Campaign you’d like to test

  5. Then click Start

How to test Appointment or Missed Appointment Campaign:

If you’d like to test a campaign that is triggered by an appointment or missed appointment, you may do so by adding yourself to your schedule in your EHR. Just make sure that you schedule yourself for the appointment type being used in correlation with the campaign.

How to test Event Campaign:

The event campaign requires contacts to text in the "keyword" to be added. You can use your cellphone to text the number associated with your Aloha account to be added to the campaign.

How to test Tag Applied Campaign:

In order to test a tag applied campaign, you will need to add the tag to your saved contact record in Aloha. You can CLICK HERE to view an article walking you through adding a tag to a contact.

NOTE: If you need to edit campaign steps after testing, you can adjust when each step is triggered by going to the CAMPAIGNS tab > SHOW CAMPAIGNS page and then clicking Edit next to the campaign that needs to be adjusted in order to Edit any steps necessary. Otherwise, if you need to adjust your message templates used in the campaign, you can go to the Show Templates page and adjust any applicable templates there.
