✨ When You Need This Guide

If you’re busy and away from your desk, turning on mobile notifications ensures you never miss an important message from a patient.

Use this guide if you’ve ever asked:

  • “How do I turn on notifications in the Aloha App?”

  • “Why am I not getting alerts when a patient texts me?”

  • “Can I turn off alerts when I’m off the clock?”

  • “How do I enable Face ID or reset my password in the app?”

⚙️ How to Adjust Notifications in the Aloha Provider App

Stay in control of how and when you’re notified, so your phone only alerts you when it matters most.

  1. Open the Aloha App on your smartphone
Make sure you’re logged in with your provider account.

  2. Tap the “Settings” icon ⚙️
You’ll find this on the bottom right of your screen.

  3. Manage your notifications
In the settings menu, you can:

    • Turn ON or OFF push notifications
Get alerts when a new patient message comes in—or silence them when you're off duty.

    • Reset your password
Quickly update your login if you’ve forgotten it or need to change it for security reasons.

    • Enable or disable Touch ID / Face ID
Make logging in faster and more secure using your phone’s biometric settings.

✅ What to expect: Your changes take effect immediately, and you’ll only receive alerts based on the preferences you choose.

🎉 You’ll Know It Worked When:

  • You receive real-time alerts when patients send messages

  • Notifications stop coming through when toggled off

  • You can log in using Face ID or Touch ID (if enabled)

  • You’re able to update your password easily in-app
