Now that you have an idea of the event you want to put on, you can use Campaigns to create a marketing workflow. You can add texts/emails to keep patients engaged and remind them of the event leading up to the date. You can also send messages after the event.

To build the event campaign, begin at the CAMPAIGNS> SHOW TEMPLATES page and click +Add Template in the top right corner. Once in the campaign builder, under "Type" select "Event". You will need to choose the Event Date in order to be able to set the message preferences further.

In the "Keyword" section, type in a word you'd like patients to use in order to be added to the particular campaign (optional, but this is helpful for voluntary opt-ins). You can utilize the bulk message feature to promote the keyword (example: We are having our third annual wellness seminar. To learn more and RSVP, reply with the word "Seminar2025". This will opt in the patient into the campaign, thus getting the series of messages associated with the campaign.

After, clicking Add Campaign you can now set up individual steps by clicking +Add Step. This can be further customized to send out particular messages based on your preference. For example, if you'd like to send an event reminder to the contacts added in the campaign, you can set up a text to go out 1 day prior to the event with all necessary information included.
