Have you recently updated your passwords to your vision portals or do you now accept a new insurance provider? If the answer is yes, you may need to be re-connected within Aloha.
If there is a triangle next to the VCP Credentials tab, this could mean:
Your password changed on the vision portal
There was a disconnect with the vision portal when Aloha tried running the search.
Clicking on the VCP Credentials tab will alert you to which portal needs attention.
*Only a Practice Admin user can update or reconnect the VCP Credentials.
Connecting/Re-connecting VCP Credentials:
1. Click the "VCP Credentials" button on the left-hand side of the screen.
2. Click the "Edit" button next to the VCP of your choosing. If a VCP just needs to be reconnected you will see the red triangle reflect next to that specific login.
3. From here you can insert or update the correct username and/or password. Click "Submit" once completed.
4. If successful, it should automatically connect the VCP credentials. If not, you will still see the red triangle appear and may need to re-submit.
5. For accounts with multiple locations some portals such as EyeMed, Versant, and Spectera might require you to select the address for your location after it's verified. If this is the case, a drop-down with address options will populate. Once you select the address, wait for the green checkmark.
6. Once you see the green checkmark appear, you are free to go on to search for eligibility.
*We securely store your credentials in Aloha and only an administrator can
update that information. By using Aloha there is no need to go to all of the different portals risking getting locked out.
