The Advanced Settings are broken down into five categories: Appointments, Claim Response Handling, Customers/Patients, Kiosk, and Reports. These settings can help many day-to-day routines within the clinic. Let's break them down! 🤩

- Appointments -

Disallowing a patient to Check Out without a charge taken/logged can help ensure your patients' balances and Reports are accurate. This will also make sure that, even during busy times, you are keeping track of all things surrounding the finances of the clinic.

The next Toggle is especially helpful if your practice uses Rooms. Once a Room/Resource is assigned, it will automatically mark the patient In Treatment!

The last Toggle is for Providers that like to give more specified information about each vertebra they adjust for both the Value and the Severity:

- Claim Response Handling -

Autopay Claims helps streamline the process of updating patient balances when the Claim has been paid/partially paid by Insurance. If switched on, the payment will automatically make a payment to the associated Invoice the Claim was created from.

Before switching the next Toggle on, you will need to make sure that you have your Claim Response Automation Rules established. You can set these up by going to Settings > Insurance Settings > Claim Response Automation Rules. When this Toggle is activated, you can streamline how if you want Claims to be automatically disputed, written off, or have an applied payment.

- Customers -

The Display Gender Options Toggle will display the patient's gender as opposed to sex in their Contact Card. To choose which genders can be displayed, head to Settings > General > Genders.

Note:✨ If you are billing Insurance, this does not affect what will go on the Claim.

The Patient credit Toggle will allow you to create a Positive Balance for your patients, which you may CLICK HERE to learn more about.

- Kiosk -

The first Toggle is for families that would like to check themselves in all at once. To use this, you will first want to check if related Patients are set up in their Patient Profiles. You can do this by going to the Patient Profile > Details tab > Related People:

The second Toggle, when activated, will turn off the Subjective Questions the patients can answer that will give the Provider insight into how they're feeling.

- Reports -

The last Advanced Setting Toggle is helpful for Patients that utilize HSAs, HRAs, and for Providers that see Personal Injury Cases.
