The Outcome screen is the Provider's hub and and main workspace when treating patients. While taking SOAP Notes is an important part of tracking patient care, Clerk also gives the Provider a lot of freedom to efficiently input more information than just SOAP Notes!

✨PSST!✨ If you have not already, check out our Article about how to use SOAP Notes, which you can CLICK HERE to view!

From the Outcome screen, the Provider can also:

  • book the patient their next Appointment or set of Recurring Appointments if no front desk staff is present

  • enter Services Charges / Line Items with CPT Codes, Modifiers, and ICD-10 Codes

  • create a loose outline of a Treatment Plan to keep track of all the patient's Completed appointments

  • communicate to the Front Desk when to book the patient a next appointment

  • look at any files associated with the patient, such as intake forms or x-rays

  • view medical history, such as surgeries or allergies, and referring providers

The Provider also has the option to create an invoice to help check the patient out. Once there are Products/Services added to the Line Items tab, save the Line Item, and select Create an Invoice, which will bring the Provider directly to the Payment screen.

Once saved, you can Edit the Line Item or Delete it as needed.

Don't you just love efficiency at its finest?! πŸ€“
