When time is money, having your patient's SOAP Notes flow together seamlessly from one Macro to another can help save time on editing! In Clerk, Macros are automatically added a line below the last sentence of your SOAP notes.

Including these gaps can be helpful when separating out information, however, you may not always want that gap and would prefer the Macro stay on the same line as the current note. You can do this! In Clerk, we call this appending Macros to keep them as part of the same line of text. Let's get started!
First, go to Settings > SOAP Note Macro Settings > SOAP Note Macros. Next, you can either create a new Macro or edit a current one. Once in edit mode, locate the toggle under the text field that says Append to previous note (shown below):
If the toggle is turned on (like in the screenshot above), your Macro should automatically flow right after the previously entered in Macro so that your SOAP Notes will flow in a paragraph format!
