Sometimes Careplans can last for months and include multiple steps, whether that be a Progress Evaluation, or an internal note to staff to schedule X-rays, it may not always be easy to keep track of for each patient in a busy practice. Clerk has got you covered for this! Ditch your sticky notes and let's create an Alert!

Head on over to Settings > Careplans > Edit. Click on the plus sign by Careplan Alerts:

This will open up the options for the Careplan Alerts, as seen below:

You will need to choose when to send your Alert:

  • After x days - after how many days out would you like to be Alerted?

  • After x appointments - after how many overall appointments would you like to be Alerted?

  • After x appointments of a specific type - after how many of a specific Appointment Type would you like to be Alerted?

  • On date - on which date would you like to be Alerted?

The Note will be the verbiage you will see for that Alert. In the screenshot above, the Alert will be clinic-facing only, however, if you toggle on the switch that says Alert customer on checkin, the patient will see that Alert once they checkin on the Kiosk (CLICK HERE to learn more about more about our Kiosk).

Once you've set up your Careplan Alert, don't forget to save it and the Careplan! Now, you ask, where do these Alerts show up? Great question! You will find them under the Patient Alerts Tab on the Practice Manager!

Now that you have Alerts set up, you can use your sticky notes for more fun things, such as doodling! πŸ“
