Strategic Playbook Creation

The Playbooks module is the chamber of all the recommendations for the users. These recommendations are related to others through KPI.

The users can use the recommendations to alleviate the generated alerts.

Steps to Create a Playbook

Part 1 - Playbook Details

Click the Playbook icon on the left sidebar to create a new Playbook.

In the Playbooks module, on the right corner, the 'Create Playbook' icon.

The 'Create playbook' will open with the following card.

  1. Playbook Name - The user will need to provide a suitable playbook name considering recommendations for clarity.

  2. Playbook description - A simple and straightforward description of the playbook for the other users understanding.

  3. Select Channel - The user can choose one of the channels available in the drop-down filter for the playbook creation. These are the channels integrated by the user with the product.

  4. Select KPI - The KPIs available vary for every channel. Choose from the list of KPIs available that best suit the recommendation.

  5. Trend - Mark the trend with the KPI and whether there will be a rise or reduce the KPI. For instance, set it as 'positive' if the user intends to increase the clicks for the website.

Click the 'Next' button.

Part 2 - Creating Playbook - Recommendations.

  1. Create Recommendations

    Strategic

i. Recommendation Name - Supplement with a Recommendation Name that syncs with the playbook name.

ii. Description - A short description and the influence of this recommendation on the playbook.

Click the 'Create' button; a new strategic recommendation is formed under the playbook.

  • Would you like to delete the recommendation just created?

The user can anytime delete the recommendation by clicking the icon below.

  • Would you like to add new recommendations?

Simultaneously, we can 'Add Recommendations' if the user proposes to add new recommendations.

  • Do you want to save recommendations as Drafts?

The user can save the recommendations as drafts and amend the same at a future date. Click 'Save as Draft'

If the user wants to edit the same recommendations with additional details.

Click 'Drafts' from the 'playbook status' filter to pull out the playbooks in 'Drafts' status.

  • If the user wants to create a new playbook, click the icon below.

After activating the playbook, it will appear under the default list of playbooks.

  • The following card appears on the screen if the user establishes a playbook with the same playbook name. A user must create the playbook with a unique name.

2. Back - Click Back will take you to the Creating a Playbook page.

3. Add later - The user can click 'Add later' to add the recommendations. This will create a playbook without any recommendations, yet they can be added later.

Adhering to the strategic recommendations by converting them to tasks and working on them when the rule is triggered. This keeps the users abreast of the methodologies to follow.
