How to Create a Task

Creating tasks is critical to managing projects and boosting productivity. Assigning tasks to team members helps everyone stay efficient and keep track of progress.

Follow these steps to create a new task:​

Step 1: Open the tasks module.


Step 2: Click on the Create Task button located on the task creation page.

Step 3: Enter Task Details:

  • Task Name: Provide a concise title for the task.​

  • Description: Add relevant details or instructions.​

  • Channel Name: Specify the channel associated with the task.​

  • Assignee: Select the team member responsible for the task.​

  • Priority: Set the priority level (e.g., High, Medium, Low).​

  • Due Date: Choose the deadline for task completion.​

Then, click on 'Create.'

The newly created task will now appear on the Tasks listing page, categorized under the appropriate due date section. This organized approach aids in effective task management and tracking.​
