Choosing the platform
Choose from the list of platforms available for receiving notifications.
The User must choose the Platform and appropriately give the respective address or channel.
Google Chat
Choose 'Google Chat' on the Platform and provide a webhook URL to receive the notifications.
How to create and set up a webhook URL for Google Chat?
Go to the Gmail account registered with the Platform.
Click the Chat option from the navigation menu.
Click the 'New chat' button.
Click the 'Create a space' button.
Space name: Provide a space name for easy tracking and access.
Description: The User may choose to substantiate the reason for creating the space. This will provide clarity to the users.
Enter the name or Email of a person or group: Add the names or email addresses of the users you wish to add to the group. When the URL is created at the end of this process is given in the notifications platform. The URLs given in the Platform will receive notifications from the system.
Space access: The User can restrict access to only the members by clicking 'Restricted.'
If the User opts for 'Revlitix,' access is given to anyone with a Revlitix account to join the group to receive notifications.
Create button: Click the 'Create' button to create a group of team members to receive notifications.
Case 1: Restricted access
If access to the group is restricted, it will appear under the group name, as exhibited below.
Other than those who are invited, the link cannot be shared with other team members.
Case 2: All of Revlitix
Access to join the group is available to all the team members who receive the link.
The link can be shared with new teammates to receive notifications.
Click the 'Copy link' and share with new teammates to join the group.
In addition, the link must be added to the field' webhook URL' against the Google Chat platform.
Click the 'Save' button at the top right corner of the screen.
