Easily Determine Who Has Access to Your Reports

This straightforward guide will help you determine if a report has been shared with others. Keeping your data secure and private is essential, and this process ensures you have control over who can view your reports.

Accessing the Reports Module:

Step 1: Access the Reports Module

  • You can manage your reports by clicking on the Reports module from your dashboard.

Step 2: Viewing All Reports

  • Next, click on the 'View Reports' button. This action will display a comprehensive list of reports, including those categorized as Organization, Public, Private, and Shared.

Checking for Shared Access:

Step 3: Inspect Sharing Details

  • Locate the specific report you want to check, and click on the three vertical dots located in its right corner.

  • From the dropdown menu, select the 'Share' option.

Upon selecting this, you'll see the 'Share Access' card, which provides insights into who can access this report.

Changing Access to Restricted:

  • In the General Access section of the Share Access card, you have the option to switch the access to 'Restricted.'

  • This change will make the shared report display the users' initials in the Access column, providing clarity on who can view it.

Confirming Shared Users:

  • Check the Access column to see the exact number of users with whom the report is shared.

By following these simple steps, you can easily check and manage the shared access of your reports, ensuring your data remains secure and only accessible to the intended audience.
