How to Edit a Sales Analytics Report

Editing a sales analytics report allows you to update the information and metrics to meet your current analysis needs. Here's a simple guide on how to edit a report in Sales Analytics.

Step 1: Go to Sales Analytics

First, access the Sales Analytics section to find the report you want to edit.

Navigate to Sales Analytics: Click on the 'Sales Analytics' option on your dashboard. This option is in the main menu, in a sidebar.

Step 2: View All Analytics

View all available analytics to find the specific report you want to edit.

Click on 'View All Analytics': Find and click on the 'View All Analytics' option in the Sales Analytics section. This will display all the reports that are available to you.

Step 3: Click on Options

Locate the report you wish to edit and access additional options.

Find 'Options': Next to the report you want to edit, click on the 'Options' button or icon. This might appear as three dots.

Step 4: Click on Edit

From the available options, choose to edit the report.

Select 'Edit': In the options menu, click on 'Edit' to start modifying the report.

Step 5: Make Your Changes

Now, you can update the report's details.

Edit Details:

  • Name: Change the name of the report if necessary.

  • Metrics: Adjust the metrics to include or exclude data points that are now relevant to your analysis.

  • Date Range: Update the date range to reflect the period you want the report to cover.

Step 6: Click on Edit to Save the Changes

After making all the necessary adjustments, save the changes to update the report.

Save the Changes: Click on 'Save' to apply the changes you have made to the report.

By following these steps, you can effectively edit any sales analytics report to better suit your new data requirements or analysis goals. This process ensures that your reports remain up-to-date and relevant to your current business needs.
