Rewaa enables you to link and manage all your points of sale (POS) from a single screen. You can synchronize the inventory of branches added to the platform with your e-commerce store, helping to reduce errors related to stock shortages in the Product Inventory section on Rewaa. Rewaa supports integration with major e-commerce platforms such as Salla and Zid. By integrating with these platforms, you can start receiving orders and managing inventory efficiently.
This article details the steps for installing and integrating Zid with Rewaa.
Requirements for Connecting Zid to Rewaa
You must have an e-commerce store on Zid that has not been previously linked with Rewaa.
The integration is done for one site only, which you choose during the installation process. Example: If you have multiple branches on Rewaa, you must select a single branch whose inventory will be synced with the e-commerce store.

Rewaa’s Default Currency
⚠️ Rewaa’s default currency is the Saudi Riyal (SAR). This means the platform does not recognize products priced in other currencies on external stores.
Example: If you receive an order on your e-commerce platform priced at 6 Kuwaiti Dinars (KWD), Rewaa will record it as 6 SAR and will not convert the currency.
Pre-Integration Checklist
If your products already exist on Salla, verify the following before proceeding with the integration:
Product prices are set on Zid.
Cost prices are available on Rewaa.
Stock quantities on Rewaa are accurate.
SKU codes match on both platforms: Mismatched SKUs will cause integration issues, leading to order errors and incorrect stock updates between the two platforms.
For multi-variant products, the SKU for each variant must match across both platforms.
Example: If you have a product (Glass Mug) with colors (Red, Blue, Green), the SKU for Red must be identical on both Zid and Rewaa, and the same applies to all other variants.
ℹ️ It is recommended to temporarily disable sales on Zid (by putting the store in maintenance mode) or schedule the integration during low order times to ensure a smooth process.
Example: If there are no orders at 6 AM, perform the integration at this time to ensure proper synchronization.
Integration Steps
Step 1: Ensure Tax Settings Match on Both Platforms
⚠️ Tax settings must be identical on both platforms to ensure correct pricing when receiving orders.
On Rewaa:
Navigate to Settings > Configuration > Sell Tax Status.

On Zid:
Navigate to Settings > Advanced Settings > Tax Settings.
Ensure the tax settings are identical on both platforms before proceeding.
ℹ️ Important Notes:
You must enter your tax number on Zid to activate tax settings correctly.
Choose the shipping tax status on Zid. Shipping fees and taxes will be reflected in Rewaa when an order is received.
Shipping fees are recorded in Rewaa as sales revenue, but you can manually classify them as expenses.
Step 2: Install the Application
Navigate to Applications > Available Apps > Zid > Click Install.
Click Connect Zid account.
Enter your Zid account email, then click Next.
You will receive a verification code via email. Enter the code and click Verify.
Click Open Application to proceed.
You will be redirected to Rewaa. Select the location that will be linked to Zid. Click Next
Click Link and Install.
ℹ️ Once you click Link & Install, the system will synchronize inventory from Rewaa to Zid for products with matching SKUs.
Synchronization may take a few minutes depending on the number of products. Once the integration is complete, click Next.
After completing the integration, your e-commerce store orders will start appearing in the Orders list. You can view and manage them by going to: Sales & Customers > E-commerce Orders.
ℹ️ Only orders placed after the Rewaa and Zid integration will sync. Previous orders made before the integration will not be synchronized.
Managing Products
During the integration process, products are matched by SKU but are linked using a Product ID.
ℹ️ Product ID is an invisible, system-generated number used to uniquely identify products.
Product ID Benefits:
If you change an SKU for a linked product, the integration remains active (manual unlinking is required).
If an SKU is changed for a linked product, the new SKU is automatically updated on the other platform.
⚠️ if the product is not linked, the SKU update will not be reflected on the other platform.
If you have products listed on Zid, go to Applications > My Apps > Zid, click Product Management and ensure products show as Linked to guarantee successful order syncing.
After completing the integration, e-commerce store orders will start appearing in the Order List. You can view and manage them by navigating to:
Sales & Customers > E-Commerce Orders. [Learn more here].
ℹ️ Only orders placed after integrating Rewaa with Zid will sync. Orders created before the integration will not be synchronized.
Product Statuses
Linked:
The product exists on both platforms with a matching SKU and has been successfully linked.
ℹ️ Only the inventory from the linked Rewaa branch will sync. Any quantity updates on Zid will not reflect on Rewaa.
Unlinked:
The product exists on both platforms with a matching SKU but has not been linked yet.
To link: Click Link to sync stock from Rewaa to Zid.
⚠️ Stock changes on Rewaa will not sync to Zid until linked.
ℹ️ A product may be unlinked in these cases:
It was created on Zid, then added manually to Rewaa.
It was created on Rewaa, then added manually to Zid.
The link was manually removed.
Not Found:
The product exists on Zid but not on Rewaa.
Solution: Add the product to Rewaa Inventory, then click Link. then click Link to sync.
ℹ️ If the product is simple, you can click (Create) under the (Filter) column to add it directly to Rewaa Inventory.
⚠️ Linking a pack product with Zid: Pack products integration is temporarily disabled but will be reinstated soon.
FAQs
1- What if products on Zid have no SKU or different SKUs than Rewaa?
Ensure matching SKUs on both platforms:
Add missing SKUs to Zid.
Update SKUs on either platform to match.
2- Can composite products, batch-tracked products, or digital products be linked?
No, Rewaa does not currently support these types of products for Zid integration.
3- If I add a new product on Rewaa, will it sync to Zid automatically?
No, you must publish the product manually on Zid after adding it to Rewaa. Click [here] for details.
4- How do I verify product SKUs before integration?
Check SKUs in Product Details or Export Products to Excel on both platforms.
5- How can I confirm that products and stock levels are synced correctly?
Go to Applications > My Apps > Product Management, then check the Product Status column.
6- I added a new product on Zid, but it does not appear in Rewaa?
Click Sync Data, wait a few minutes, then search for the product again.
7- Multi-variant products are not appearing in Rewaa’s product list?
Ensure SKUs are assigned to product type variants on Zid. Afterward, sync data on Rewaa to display the product.
In Zid Go to Products > Product > Click the product name.
Navigate to Customize Options and add SKUs to product type variants.
In Rewaa, click Sync Data. Once done, search for the product in Product Management.
ℹ️ Stock quantities for linked products are updated based on Rewaa's inventory.
