Opening a Cash Register
Log In:
Log in to the Rewaa Cashier app using the main account or a user account.Select a Cash Register:
Tap on the cash register you wish to use for sales.
Enter the Opening Balance (Optional):
Enter the float (cash-in-hand) amount at the start of the day.
Tap Open.
ℹ️ The opening balance is the initial cash provided for the register, used for tasks like giving change to customers.
Start Sales:
Once the register is open, the sales screen will appear based on the selected display mode:Image View: Products are categorized at the top of the screen.
Standard View: All products are displayed without categorization.
Closing a Cash Register
Tap the three dots in the top-right corner of the screen.
Select Close Register.
Enter the amounts collected from each payment method.
Tap Close.
⚠️ If an opening balance exists, add it to the cash sales total before closing. For example:
Opening Balance (100 SAR) + Cash Sales (1,447.88 SAR) = 1,547.88 SAR.
Closure Report:
After closing the register, the closure report will appear immediately.You can print it or share it with a customer via WhatsApp on supported devices like phones and tablets.
