From the RFMS home app screen, click on the BIG BLUE RFMS LOGO button at the bottom/center of the app. Then, click the READ option from the app quick keys.
IMPORTANT: If you are a 1st-time user, your personal bookshelf will be empty (see screenshot below), and will need to first add your book title to your bookshelf in order to track minutes to it. You also have the option to simply track minutes if you are unable to find your book title on the RFMS app. Just click CAN'T FIND YOUR BOOK? LOG MINUTES HERE link.
Once you've selected the book title from your personal bookshelf click the NEXT button. If you can't find your book, select the LOG MINUTES FOR CUSTOM BOOK option and click the NEXT button. If you've completed the book title from your bookshelf, click the I'VE FINISHED THE BOOK option.
IMPORTANT: If you are looking to track minutes read and mark the book title as completed, please track minutes BEFORE tracking it as a completed book. This way, your reading minutes associated with the book will be tracked on your reading record. If you didn't, just go to your PROGRESS page, delete the reading record and start again. It's that easy!
Next, add your reading minutes to the book title you've chosen. Use the arrows to add time (increments of 10 minutes) and select the date you want to record your minutes. You can record for the current date or select a past date (up to 30 days) to your reading record. Once you've inserted your reading time, click the NEXT button.
Once you've successfully added your reading minutes, you will receive updated progress against your reading goals set by your fundraising administrator. Next, click SHOW MY PROGRESS button and be taken directly to your personal progress page where your reading has been recorded in your reading record.
TIP: There are no time restrictions as to how many times you can record a reading session.
