Since travelling is a fundamental right, YEGO has decided to follow the initiative of Île-de-France Mobilités (the Île-de-France region's transport organising authority) by greatly reducing the transport costs for "Tarification Solidarité Transport" beneficiaries, students who receive a State scholarship, and people who are 55 years old or older.
In Paris, we offer:
(i) a 75% solidarity discount on all rides for holders of a "Tarification Solidarité Transport" card.
This is reserved solely for:
Recipients of the "Revenu de Solidarité Active" (RSA) below the income ceiling defined by Île-de-France Mobilités and members of their households.
Unemployed people receiving both the "Allocation de Solidarité spécifique" (ASS) and the "Complémentaire Santé Solidaire without financial participation"* (CSS, formerly CMU-C). (The CSS is granted, depending on the case, with or without financial participation. Only beneficiaries of CSS without financial participation can benefit from the Tarification Solidarité Transport).
Veterans and victims of war with a double blue or double red bar ONAC card and their accompanying person.
Veterans and victims of war who hold an ONAC card with a single red bar.
Those accompanying a person with a Disability Card (CI) or Mobility Inclusion Card (CMI) with the additional note "Besoin d’accompagnement" ("Need for assistance").

ii) A 35% solidarity discount on all rides for students with a State scholarship.

Attach the notification of the Scholarship award and the grant certificate, available on the paper form, completed and stamped by your institution.
In the event of a proven false declaration, the holder and the payer are liable to criminal prosecution under article 441-1 et seq. of the French Penal Code.

Turin will follow the Paris model almost entirely, with local rates:
Students (youth card): -15%
Scholarship holders: -35%
Precarious situation / disability: -75% (people looking for employment, assistants to individuals with disabilities, war veterans)
55+ years old: -25%
TPL zone (metropolitan area): €6 or 3 min of monthly Wallet credit, pending check on whether this can accumulate
€6 discount on any monthly subscription plan
OR the equivalent of 3 minutes credited to the YEGO Wallet each month for users who provide proof of an annual subscription. Technically, this could be considered as a Plan of €3 monthly credit, to be used within the month and renewed every month (non-cumulative).
Experimental reduction: not valid at night
Users who use YEGO as part of an intermodal journey, between 5:00 a.m. and midnight, receive 2 free minutes, valid for 24 hours only. Effective once a day max.
Eligibility would be based on whether the trip starts or ends near a public transport stop, major train station, or other priority mobility hub/area (configured by the City Manager?).
We could use the Liste de Pôles Prioritaires (e.g. train stations) already available to determine eligibility.
Note: Discounts cannot be stacked. If eligible for more than one category, the highest single discount applies.
