Why has YEGO fined me?

YEGO does not impose fines.

Additionally, YEGO does not annul or pay fines on behalf of users.

If a motorbike is fined for breaking a traffic or parking rule, YEGO receives the notification and assigns it to the user, who must then continue the process with the City council.

Users must ensure that their parking complies with local regulations, even if the app accepts the end-of-ride photo. YEGO charges administrative fees for processing fines, but these fees do not include the fine amount itself. A €5 surcharge may be applied after three alerts for incorrect parking or poorly framed end-of-ride photos. If a fine is annulled, users can provide documentation to YEGO to request a refund of administrative fees. In cases of towing, users should follow the same process to contest the fine and submit evidence for potential reimbursement. If YEGO pays a fine to avoid penalties due to unaccepted driver identification, the fine amount is refactored to the last registered user of the vehicle.
