As an employer partner in the RiseKit community, you may find the need to use different ways to communicate with candidates. Once a candidate has marked themselves as interested in one of your open positions, you have the ability to start a chat with them. This can often be a simpler and more effective way to communicate with candidates.
Navigation:
To start a message with a candidate, do the following:
Login to your RiseKit account at Staff Portal.
At the left of the screen, you will see Home, Chat, Candidates, Opportunities, and Integrations. Select "Opportunities".
Open the job you would like to review candidates for and click "View Candidates", which will open a list of all candidates who have marked themselves as interested in this position. Click on the name of the candidate you would like to message. This will bring up a screen that allows you to "Send Message" or "View Resume". Select "Send Message".
You will be directed to the Chat Screen where you can message the candidate and converse with them.
To reply to or access existing chat messages:
Login to your RiseKit account at Staff Portal.
At the left of the screen, you will see Home, Chat, Candidates, Opportunities, and Integrations. Select "Chat".
This will bring up a list of all chat messages. Locate the message you want to continue and begin typing.
When you are done typing your message, simply select the "Send Message" button in the bottom right corner.
