Many software tools allow you to collaborate with your colleagues. RiseKit was built to not only facilitate staff collaboration, but - uniquely - to allow you to interact and collaborate with your program participants. The more program participants you have on RiseKit, the more effectively you will serve them and the more time you will save.

Here, you will learn how to invite participants one at a time.

Navigation:

  1. Login to your RiseKit account at Staff Portal.

  2. Move your mouse toward the left-hand navigation.

  3. You should see links that show the following options:

    • Organization

    • Chat

    • Candidates

    • Resources

    • Surveys

  4. Click on "Chat" or "Candidates".

  5. Click the "+ Candidate" button.

  6. Follow the Sign Up Prompts for adding a new candidate.

    • Enter the mobile phone number or email to confirm if the candidate already has a RiseKit account. If they do not, click next and add the candidate contact information. You can choose to enter both mobile phone number and email address, or just one.

(We recommend that you prioritize phone numbers for participants with smartphones. Use email for participants who do not have smartphones.)

Pro Tip: Your organization may not have Teams or Pathways. This is optional information and not needed for candidate sign up.

Enter candidate information and select NEXT

Enter candidate information and select "Next".

Enter Optional Pathway Information and select Next

Enter Optional Pathway Information and select "Next".

  • Choose to send an invitation now (meaning the candidate will receive a link to create their RiseKit account). Use this option if you have already communicated with your candidates that you are using RiseKit and they should expect an invitation to join.

  • Do not choose to send an invitation if your candidates are not aware of RiseKit and you need to prepare them before you invite them to join. This option will allow their record to be created in RiseKit, but will not alert them to set up their profile.

  • Select the "Next" button.

You will receive a confirmation note that your candidate has been added or invited (depending on the option you chose).

Congratulations! You have now added a new participant and can view their profile by clicking on their name in your Candidates area.

In order to see the activity that your candidate takes (and to be able to easily chat with them), assign yourself (or the correct person) as their staff member.
