Create and Use Style Rules

Style rules let you save a reusable visual direction in Riverflow. They help your team keep generated work consistent across scenes, prompts, and future campaigns.

Before you start

  • Select the correct brand in the sidebar.

  • Decide whether you want to create a style from a written description or from reference images.

  • If you want to use a public style as a starting point, be ready to review the styles shared on the Styles page.

How to do it

  1. Open Styles from the sidebar.

  2. In Your Styles, choose Create new.

  3. Choose Describe if you want to write the style direction yourself.

  4. Enter a clear title and describe the visual look you want Riverflow to follow.

  5. Choose Reference images if you want Riverflow to build a style from example imagery instead.

  6. Add the reference images and any supporting color or brand context the form asks for.

  7. Save the style rule and confirm that it appears in Your Styles.

  8. Open the Public Styles tab if you want to review styles already available in Riverflow.

  9. Adopt a public style when you want to add it to your own brand library.

  10. In Photoshoots, select a style rule before you generate if you want that look applied to the new output.

Best practices

  • Give style rules names your team will understand later, such as campaign, mood, or visual system names.

  • Keep the description focused on appearance, not product facts.

  • Create separate style rules for clearly different looks instead of forcing one rule to do everything.

  • Save proven styles that your team uses often so future generations stay consistent.

Troubleshooting

My style rule is too vague

Edit it and make the title and description more specific. Stronger style language usually produces more predictable results.

I cannot see a style in Photoshoots

Make sure it was created under the same brand you are using in Photoshoots.

A public style looks useful, but I do not want to recreate it

Use the adoption option in Public Styles so it becomes available in your own brand library.

I uploaded references, but I still want to change the result

Create a new version with a tighter set of references or a clearer title so your team can compare them side by side.

What to do next

Use your saved styles when generating new assets in Generate Photoshoots From Scenes or Prompts.
