Invite Teammates and Manage Brand Access

Riverflow makes it easy to add teammates to a team and control who can work with private brands. This guide covers inviting people, reviewing team members, and managing brand access in Team Settings.

Before you start

  • Select the correct team in the sidebar.

  • Make sure you have the right level of access to manage team members or brand permissions.

  • Decide whether the brand should stay open to the whole team or private to selected people.

How to do it

  1. Open Invite to team from the sidebar when you want to add a new teammate.

  2. Enter the teammate's email address and submit the invite.

  3. Review the current member list to confirm the person was added to the team.

  4. Open Team Settings if you need to manage roles or brand permissions.

  5. In the Members area, review current roles for each teammate.

  6. Change a teammate from member to admin only when they need to manage team setup or permissions.

  7. In the Brand Permissions area, review which brands are open and which are private.

  8. Update default brand visibility if your team wants new brands to start open or private.

  9. For private brands, grant access only to the teammates who need it.

  10. Remove access when a teammate should no longer work on a private brand.

Best practices

  • Invite teammates to the correct team before you start assigning brand access.

  • Keep the number of admins small so permission changes stay controlled.

  • Use private brand access when a brand should only be visible to a limited group.

  • Review team membership and access regularly as projects and responsibilities change.

Troubleshooting

I can invite someone, but I cannot change roles

Role changes are limited to people with the right team permissions.

A teammate cannot see a brand

Check that they are in the correct team first. If the brand is private, confirm that access was granted in Team Settings.

I changed a permission and nothing seems different

Ask the teammate to refresh the app and confirm they are viewing the correct team.

I do not see Team Settings

Your account may not have team admin access for the selected team.
