Organise Assets With Folders

Folders are your brand’s curated showroom. While the Photoshoots grid is where the creative work happens, Folders are where you gather your "winners" to organize campaigns, prep for social media launches, or hand off final assets to your team.

Think of Folders as the bridge between raw generation and a finished marketing campaign.

Before You Start

  • Select your Brand: Ensure you are in the correct brand workspace.

  • Review Your Assets: Have a few approved or upscaled images ready in Photoshoots.

  • Define Your Structure: Decide if you are organizing by campaign (e.g., "Summer '26 Launch"), product line ("Ceramic Mugs"), or channel ("Instagram Stories").

How to Organize Your Assets

There are two primary ways to move your best work into a folder: creating a collection first, or adding images on the fly.

1. Create a New Folder

  1. Open Folders from the sidebar and select New Folder.

  2. Give it a clear, practical name.

    • Tip: Avoid names like "Final_v1." Use descriptive titles like "Q3 Newsletter—Hero Images."

  3. Open the folder and click Add more items to browse and select assets from your recent Photoshoots.

2. Add Directly from Photoshoots (The Fast Way)

You don't need to leave your creative flow to stay organized.

  1. While in the Photoshoots results grid, hover over any image you want to save.

  2. Click the Folder icon or the "Add to Folder" button on the image itself.

  3. Select an existing folder or create a new one instantly from the pop-up menu.

Best Practices

  • Curate, Don't Archive: Only move your approved, high-quality, or upscaled images into folders. Keep the "noise" in the general Photoshoot grid so your folders stay focused and useful.

  • Purpose-Driven Naming: Name folders by their destination or campaign goal. This makes it much easier for your social media manager or web designer to find exactly what they need.

  • Regular Audits: If a campaign has ended, archive or clear out the folder to keep your workspace lean.

  • Collaborative Context: Use folders to create "Shortlists" for your team to review before you commit to upscaling and exporting.

Troubleshooting

"I deleted a folder! Did I lose my images?"

No! Deleting a folder only removes the organizational container. Your images are safe and sound in the main Photoshoots area.

"My folder looks empty even though I added items."

This can happen if a filter is active. Ensure you aren't filtering by a specific product or date that excludes the items you just added.

"I can't find a specific image in my folder."

Double-check the Photoshoots grid. It’s possible the image was generated but never actually "added" to the folder. You can quickly add it using the hover-action mentioned above.

What’s Next?

Now that your best work is organized and easy to find:

  • Invite Your Team: Follow the Invite Teammates guide to give your colleagues access to these folders.

  • Manage Permissions: Use Brand Access to control who can view, edit, or export from your curated collections.
