Generating an image is just the first step. Riverflow’s Refinement Toolkit allows you to take a "good" generation and turn it into a "perfect" brand asset. Whether you need to fix a tiny detail, change the orientation for Instagram, or see the product from a different angle, these tools give you total creative control.

Before You Start

  • Ensure you have run at least one Photoshoot and have results in your grid.

  • Decide if the current result needs a minor tweak (Edit) or a total redirection (Regenerate).

How to Perfect Your Results

Once your images appear in the results grid, you have a suite of professional tools at your fingertips to polish them.

1. The Quick Sort

  • Approve or Reject: Use the checkmark or 'X' to filter your results. This keeps your workspace clean and helps your team identify the "winners" instantly.

  • See More Like This: Found a "vibe" you love? Use this to generate a new set of images that follow the same lighting, composition, and mood.

2. The Refinement Toolkit

Click on any image to open the detail view and access these advanced editing features:

  • Generate Angles: Want to see the product from the side or top-down? Use this to generate new perspectives while keeping the environment consistent.

  • Fix Product Details: Use this AI-powered "touch-up" tool to correct small inconsistencies on the product itself, such as labels, textures, or reflections.

  • Swap Product: Love the scene but want to see a different item in it? This allows you to swap the product while keeping the background and lighting identical.

  • Change Aspect Ratio: Instantly transform a landscape shot into a 9:16 vertical for Stories or a 1:1 square for your web shop.

  • Edit with Instructions: For specific changes (e.g., "Make the lighting warmer" or "Remove the shadow"), enter a short, direct text command.

3. Final Polish: Upscale to 4K

When you’ve found the "The One," select Upscale. Riverflow will re-process the image into a high-resolution 4K file, perfect for high-quality web displays or print media.

Best Practices

  • Be Specific with Edits: Instead of saying "Make it better," try "Add more sunlight from the left." The AI performs best with directional, visual instructions.

  • Edit vs. Regenerate: If the composition is 90% there, use Edit. If the entire layout feels off, it’s usually faster to Regenerate with a tweaked prompt.

  • Upscale Selectively: 4K upscaling is a powerful process. To keep your workflow fast, only upscale the final versions you intend to put into production.

  • Consistency is Key: Use Generate Angles to create a cohesive "product gallery" look for your website in seconds.

Troubleshooting

"My edit didn't change enough of the image."

Try being more assertive with your wording. Instead of "A bit more light," try "Bright, direct midday sun."

"I want to see the product from a completely different side."

Use Generate Angles. If the original product photo you uploaded only shows the front, the AI may struggle to "imagine" the back. For best results, ensure your Product Library includes multiple angles.

"I upscaled the wrong version."

Don't worry—upscaling doesn't delete the original. Simply go back to your results grid, select the correct variation, and hit upscale again.

What’s Next?

Once your images are polished and upscaled:

  • Organize Your Wins: Use Folders to group your approved assets by campaign or social channel.

  • Export for Launch: Download your 4K assets and get them live on your store or socials.
