Set Up Your Brand Kit

Setting up your brand identity shouldn't feel like a chore. With Riverflow’s Brand Kit, you can establish a visual "North Star" for your brand in seconds. This kit provides the necessary context for Riverflow to generate assets that aren't just high-quality, but feel authentically you.

The best part? You don't have to start from scratch. Give us your URL, and we’ll do the heavy lifting.

Before You Start

  • Ensure you have selected the correct Team and Brand in the sidebar.

  • Have your primary website URL ready.

  • Know your target audience (who are we talking to?).

How to Set Up Your Brand Kit

1. The Instant Import

Open Brand kit from the sidebar and enter your website URL. Riverflow will automatically crawl your site to pull in your brand name, core description, logos, color palette, and fonts. It’s like magic, but with better ROI.

2. Review and Refine

Once the import is complete, take a moment to polish the details:

  • Brand Description: Ensure this explains what you sell and the specific "vibe" you want to project.

  • Target Audience: Define who the creative should speak to so Riverflow can tailor its outputs.

  • Product & Style Keywords: Add specific keywords that describe your products and the aesthetic (e.g., "minimalist," "vibrant," "industrial").

  • Core Categories: Select the categories that best match your main product lines.

3. Fine-Tune the Visuals

  • Logos: Check the imported versions. We recommend keeping both light and dark variations for maximum versatility.

  • Colors: Verify your brand hex codes. Remove any "accent" colors you don't want appearing in your primary generated assets.

  • Fonts: Confirm your typography matches your current brand system.

Hit "Save Changes," and you’re ready to create.

Best Practices

  • Use a Direct URL: Avoid shortened links. Using your main domain ensures Riverflow grabs the most accurate metadata.

  • Be Descriptive, Not Poetic: In the description field, practical beats flowery. Focus on your unique selling points and tone.

  • Curate Your Keywords: Think of keywords as "shortcuts" for the AI. The clearer they are, the more consistent your results will be.

  • Quality Over Quantity: Only include colors and fonts that your team actually uses in production. Cluttering your kit leads to "noisy" designs.

Troubleshooting

"The URL import didn't grab my latest logo."

No worries! Sometimes site caches are stubborn. You can manually upload the correct version directly in the Brand Kit settings.

"I’m not sure which categories to choose."

Start broad. Pick the categories that represent your top-selling items. You can always refine these as you see how Riverflow generates your assets.

"My generated images don't feel 'on-brand' yet."

Re-visit your Style Keywords. Small tweaks here—like changing "modern" to "mid-century modern"—can significantly shift the AI’s output.

"The system can't identify my font style correctly"

Riverflow currently integrates with Google Fonts only. Please note that we plan to expand our support for a wider range of font types on an ongoing basis. Stay tuned for updates!

What’s Next?

Now that your brand DNA is locked in, it's time to bring in the products. You can Add Products Manually or sync them directly From Shopify to start generating.
