Project Alerts show up in two places:

  1. On each individual Project Dashboard (alerts only for that project)

  2. In the organization-wide Alerts tab (alerts across all projects)

If you are looking for definitions of specific alerts, check out this Project Alerts Glossary article.

Viewing Alerts

  • By default, you will see Unhidden Alerts (active alerts that need action).

  • You can switch views at the top of the Alerts table:

    • Unhidden Alerts – active alerts only (default)

    • Hidden Alerts – only alerts you have hidden, plus the reason column

    • All Alerts – both active and hidden alerts, plus reasons

Hiding and Unhiding Alerts

  • To remove an alert from your active view, click the check mark in the Hide Alert column.

  • You will be prompted to add a reason for hiding the alert.

  • Hidden alerts remain accessible under Hidden Alerts or All Alerts.

Filtering Alerts

Use filters at the top of the Alerts tab to narrow what you see:

  • Type: Budget, Vendor, Contract, Invoice, or Draw

  • Date: Select a date range

  • Project: Filter to a single project (in the org-level view)

Filters apply no matter which view (Unhidden, Hidden, or All) you are using.

Exporting Alerts

You can download the Alerts table as a PDF or Excel (XLSX) file to share outside Rivur.

Email Notifications

Some alerts also send you an email so you do not miss them. These include:

  • Vendor added to a project

  • Invoice rejected

  • Invoice missing lien waiver

  • Approval requested

  • Submission automatically approved

  • Submission approved

  • Submission rejected

  • Vendor COI expiring soon

Best Practices

  • Review alerts daily to stay ahead of issues.

  • Filter by type when you want to focus on specific tasks (for example, invoices).

  • Only hide alerts once you have confirmed the issue is resolved.

  • Export alerts to share updates with leadership, lenders, or external partners.
