Overview

The Rizon referral program is now a monthly leaderboard competition, where users compete based on the number of qualified referrals.

Top performers earn cash rewards directly to their Rizon account.

Monthly Prizes

  • 1st Place: $1,000

  • 2nd Place: $700

  • 3rd Place: $300

How the Leaderboard Works

1. Ranking

Users are ranked based on the total number of qualified referrals within a given month.

2. Monthly Reset

The leaderboard resets at the start of each month, giving everyone a fresh chance to compete.

3. Reward Payout

Rewards are distributed after the monthly reset and credited directly to your Rizon balance.

Referral Qualification

For a referral to count toward the leaderboard, your friend must:

  1. Sign up using your referral code

  2. Add funds to their account

  3. Order a virtual card

  4. Start spending

To fully qualify, they must:

  • Complete at least 10 transactions

  • Reach a total spend of $100 or more

  • Use their Rizon card

Transaction Rules

1. One Transaction Per Day

Only one qualifying card purchase per day counts toward referral progress.

2. Eligible Transactions

Only real card purchases qualify, including:

  • Groceries

  • Online or in-store shopping (with MCC exclusions)

  • Subscriptions (e.g. Netflix, Spotify)

  • Everyday spending

3. Non-Eligible Transactions

The following do not count:

  • Transfers to other accounts or wallets

  • Account top-ups (e.g. PayPal, Revolut, Skrill, Zen, crypto exchanges)

  • ATM withdrawals or cash equivalents (gift cards, gambling, prepaid cards)

  • Refunded transactions (even after 30 days) don’t count.

  • Artificial or split transactions to game the system

4. MCC Exclusions

Certain merchant categories are excluded.

Important Notes

  • Only qualified referrals count toward leaderboard ranking

  • Rizon reserves the right to disqualify referrals that violate the rules

  • Fraudulent or abusive behavior may result in reward removal or account action

  • Rules may evolve - always check the app for the latest version

  • Refunded transactions (including those refunded after 30 days) do not qualify and may result in referral disqualification.
