How it Works
General Terms: Road Ninja has established a set of standard General Terms on behalf of our customers, with guidance from our legal team at Bell Gully; These terms apply to all contracting jobs on the Road Ninja platform, and ensure consistency and compliance, giving both companies and drivers a clear and reliable foundation for every agreement.
Additional Terms: To offer more flexibility, customers can optionally add Additional Terms tailored to specific jobs. This allows you to include any special requirements—such as notice periods or cancellation policies—ensuring the agreement reflects the unique needs of each job, while providing clear guidelines for both parties.
Some examples of where Additional Terms might be applied include:
Notice periods: Insert minimum notice period for termination of the job/assignment, or day cancellation, by Customer or Driver.
Early termination: Detail any other conditions for termination of the job/assignment, or day cancellation, by Customer or Driver.
Cancellation fees: Specify any cancellation fees that will apply if a job/assignment is terminated, or for each day that is cancelled without rescheduling.
Assignment-specific criteria: Insert any additional details applicable to the Assignment Criteria that you specified for the job/assignment.
Confirmation and Job Acceptance
Once both parties agree to the terms, the job is confirmed. If the auto-approve job feature is enabled, this process happens instantly when the driver accepts the job. Otherwise, the company retains manual approval control, giving them the final say on job confirmations.
Automatic Email Notifications and Secure Record Storage
When an agreement is finalised, both the company and the driver receive an email with a PDF of the accepted agreement. This email will include:
