Easy Steps to Activate Your Mobile Service

Once you receive your Rocket Mobile sim card, you can activate your mobile service on your own by simply downloading the Rocket Mobile App.

Step 1

Take out the SIM card and insert the appropriate-sized SIM card (the newest phones use the smaller sizes).
NOTE: Make sure the SIM fits snugly in its SIM holder before re-inserting if you punch out a SIM that is smaller than the size you need. You will need to add the smaller SIM back to the larger frame and press it back together if that happens.

Step 2

After inserting the SIM card into a phone that is compatible, watch for the phone to pick up a signal.

Step 3

After that, you'll get a text message with a link to start the activation process.

Step 4

If you have already downloaded the Rocket Mobile App to your phone, clicking the link on your phone will open that for you instead of rerouting you to the Rocket Mobile web portal.

Step 5

To complete the SIM activation process, follow the steps to create your login and setup service.

Reminder: During the activation process, you will have the opportunity to port (transfer) your number to Rocket Mobile. If you decide to forego that step for the time being, you will need to get in touch with us when you're ready to transfer by using the Chat feature located at the bottom right of this page.
