How to use the Roofr Sites Editor

1) Discovery

💡 In this stage, you will populate any relevant business information that's available on your existing website or Google business profile

Click the Get Started button to begin
If you have an existing Google Business Profile click Yes, let’s connect!
- Or, click No I’ll skip this step
Paste in your current website URL (it may pre-populate) and click Confirm and continue

💡 Roofr Sites may take up to two minutes to summarize all your information for your personalized Moodboard

Click Reveal My Moodboard

2) Customize your Moodboard

💡 The Moodboard is where you will confirm the content and visual style of your website

Click Get Started
Click on your logo to edit and confirm Business Information
- Edit or add: Business name, service areas, phone number, email, business hours and founding date
- Click the check boxes to confirm changes
Click on the services area to edit and confirm your Offered Services
- The list will be automatically populated from your existing information
- Delete or add services as needed
Click on the circle icon in the top right corner to customize your Personas

💡 Your Personas help Roofr Sites showcase what makes your business unique

Answer the questions about your jobs and services in the chat window
Click the arrow at the top of the chat window to continue to answer and refine your persona
Click the pencil icon in the Gallery section to edit the images on your Gallery Page
- Click on any available images to add them to your Gallery
- To add to your available images;
  - Click the dropdown in the top left, select Tuner
  - Click on any image in the site
  - Select Your uploads and click the Upload button to add your images

To edit your Team page, click in the Name card section
- Click the Upload button to add a photo of the team member
- Add the team members name, job title and optional text
- Click the arrow to lock in the details

💡To delete your Gallery or Team page, delete all of the content in the mood board from the page.

3) Site Tuner

To add or edit your custom Call to action buttons, click the settings gear icon at the top right and select the CTA tab
- Paste the URL you want the button to direct your customers to, click Add

💡To add your phone number as the CTA, paste: Tel:+1xxxxxxx (your phone number)

Users will be prompted to call your number when clicking the CTA

Edit the Internal name, Call to Action text, and Description
Choose the pages you want the button to appear on
Click Save Configuration

💡The CTA buttons on the selected pages will reflect your changes after refreshing

To edit your look and branding, click the Paintbrush icon in the lower left
- Select your logo, colours, look (light or dark), visual design, and type
To edit the Layout, click the pencil icon at the right, below the menu bar
- Scroll through the options with the arrows to view and select your layout
To edit any Image, click on the image and select to replace
To edit Content, click in the section and select a prompt
- Or, type your specific updates in the text box

How to publish your Roofr Site

Click the Publish button, then Next
Confirm Yes, I have a domain
- If you haven’t purchased a domain name, you won’t be able to go live with your Site and will receive a preview-only link
Paste the root of your domain
- Exclude everything except the root (ie: ONLY businessname.com)
Click Next
Copy the four sets of name servers
- These will need to be updated in the DNS section of your domain provider
  - How to edit your Domain Name Servers in:
    Go Daddy
    Squarespace
    Namecheap

Once these updates are populated in your domain provider, click Complete
Your site may take up to 24 hours to update
Click Close to confirm

💡If you have domain-based email, you will need to perform a DNS backup of your zone files to ensure that your emails will not be impacted when your Roofr site goes live.

How to use Roofr Sites Autopilot

💡Autopilot monitors the signals that matter: search trends, weather, competitors, and homeowner behavior — and emails you recommendations on how to optimize.

Once you receive the recommendation email, open your Site Tuner to review suggested updates
Each suggestion is displayed on screen with a description in the bottom right
To keep an image unchanged, check the associated box
Use the arrows to scroll through all suggestions
Approve or discard each one individually or click Approve All
Click Publish to go live

🏠 How to add Instant Estimator to your site

From the Roofr Sites section of your Roofr dashboard;

Under the Instant Estimator dropdown, select your estimator to connect it

To configure the Instant Estimator settings on your Roofr site:

Click the ⚙️Settings icon
Click CTA
Click Edit Settings
Make changes and click Save Configuration

Open the Roofr Sites Editor
Change the URL from: https://marketing.roofr.com/SITE TO https://marketing.roofr.com/DISCOVERY
Click Get Started

Click Yes, let’s connect and connect your Google Business Profile

👀 Something not looking right?

Use the AI Chat (Prompts) to fix it. Just describe the change you need and the AI will handle most common updates, from correcting errors to adding missing content.

Example: Type "Please add a description for [service name]" and the AI will take care of it.

💡Made a mistake? Ask the AI to undo the most recent change.

💡When submitting a prompt, specify whether the update applies to a single page or the entire site.
