How to Add a RoomexPay Card during the booking process or after a booking has been made

Add on an allowance that travelers can use at the hotel or for online food delivery

RoomexPay Cards are single-use virtual cards that can be used on meals, wifi, or parking at the hotel or outside the hotel on online food orders.

If you have them included in your platform you can add these expense cards while you're making a booking, or after in the 'Bookings' tab. In this FAQ, we're going to cover both options! And, if you don't have this option available, and would like to learn more, please reach out to your account manager through the chat window or email onboarding@roomex.com

Adding a RoomexPay Card during the booking flow

1. Go through the normal booking process and select a room.

2. On the guest details page, scroll down to the section titled 'Add a RoomexPay Card' and select if you'd prefer this card be spent at the hotel or outside the hotel for online delivery. Next, select the amount you'd like to add to the card. Amounts and the option to use ‘At the Hotel’ or ‘Outside the Hotel’ are predetermined by your Company.

3. If the card was to be used at the hotel, we'll take care of it with the hotel. We will confirm with you that the card has been added to the booking. If the card was to be used outside the hotel, we will send the booker the card information, and all you'll have to do is forward the details to the traveler. If the guest’s email is entered at the time of booking, this will be included in the email.

Adding a RoomexPay Card in the 'Bookings' tab after a booking has been made

1. Select ‘Bookings’ on the top navigation bar, and select ‘Recently booked’ or click the filter beside RX Ref and enter your unique Roomex booking reference

2. Click ‘View/Manage Booking’ on the reservation you need to add a RoomexPay Card to

3. Scroll to the Booking Details Section and notice that there is 'No RoomexPay Card' in the details, so select 'Add Card'

4. Select your preferred option 'Outside the Hotel' or 'At the Hotel' and select the allowance amount. Amounts and the option to use ‘At the Hotel’ or ‘Outside the Hotel’ are predetermined by your Company. Once selected click on Ok

5. If the card was to be used at the hotel, we'll take care of it with the hotel. We will confirm with you that the card has been added to the booking. If the card was to be used outside the hotel, we will send the booker the card information, and all you'll have to do is forward the details to the traveler. If the guest’s email is entered at the time of booking, this will be included in the email.
