To integrate Rootabl's tracking code into your Squarespace website, you can use the Code Injection feature, which allows you to add custom JavaScript across your entire site. Here's how to do it:
Access Code Injection Settings:
Log in to your Squarespace account.
Navigate to the Home menu, find Website Tools under Utilities.
Click on Advanced, then choose Code Injection.
Add the Tracking Code:
In the Header section, paste Rootabl's tracking JavaScript code.
Click Save to apply the changes.
By placing the code in the Header, it will load on every page of your site, ensuring comprehensive tracking.
Important Considerations:
Plan Requirements: The Code Injection feature is available on Business and Commerce plans. If you're on a Personal plan, you'll need to upgrade to access this feature.
Testing: After adding the code, test your website to ensure that the tracking functions correctly and doesn't interfere with other site elements.
Support: While Squarespace allows for custom code additions, they don't provide support for custom code issues. If you encounter problems, reach out to Rootabl's support team.
