Your privacy is a top priority and secure with Roots.
We completely understand your concern about privacy - that's absolutely your right, and we take it very seriously.
When you grant "Screen Time" permissions to Roots, you're giving the app access to Apple's Screen Time API - but all of your app usage and browsing data remains stored locally on your device. Roots does not have access to your private information. This is built into Apple's privacy architecture by design.
Your data stays on your device - we don't collect it, store it on our servers, or share it with anyone.
For more details, please refer to Roots Privacy Policy.
How to revoke "Screen Time" access
You can remove Roots' "Screen Time" permissions at any time:
Go to Settings > Screen Time
Tap Apps With Screen Time Access
Toggle Roots off
Privacy is completely in your hands and under your control. We built Roots specifically to respect your privacy while helping you manage your digital wellness.
